 Modify Domain

Please read the following commonly asked questions, before proceeding.

1. How do I start using my domain name?

When you register your domain name with us, it 'points' to a temporary page on our servers.
You can start using the name by using one of the following methods:

Free Web Forwarding

If you have free space (from AOL or geocities, for example) we can 'redirect' your name to that space. We offer one year free web forwarding.

Note: You must already have a working URL to use this feature.

Open a web hosting account and transfer your domain to your web provider's nameservers

If you sign up with a web host, they will supply you with their primary and secondary nameserver information. You can then use the Domain Control Panel to update your 'delegation details' to point to their nameservers.

Note: Your web provider must configure their nameservers to work with your domain name. Do not use this option unless your provider has set up your account to work with your domain and furnished you with their primary and secondary nameservers.

2. How do I change my contact info for a domain?

You can change your contact info (e.g. phone number, postal address, etc) by using the Domain Control Panel and selecting 'Contact Details'.

It is important that you keep your contact information up to date. If your information is not up to date, you may not receive important communications such as renewal notices for your domain.

3. What is a registry key? Can you resend it to me?

Every domain registration comes with a Registry Key. It is included on the Confirmation message we send you - the message titled 'Registration Completed'). The Registry Key serves as a password and allows you to change your registration information.

If you have lost your registry key or need it re-sent to you, please click here.
Note:
For security reasons, registry keys can only be sent to the e-mail address on file.
This policy is strictly enforced and is in place to protect you from domain hijacking attempts.

4. Troubleshooting

Your browser must support the use of cookies and Javascipt in order to launch and use the Domain Control Panel.

If you are having problems logging into the Domain Control Panel, please make sure that you are using lower case when you enter your domain name and Registry Key, and do not enter any additional spaces.

If possible, cut and paste domain name and Registry Key directly from our emailed Confirmation.

If you have reviewed the above tips and are still not able to access the domain control panel, please e-mail support with a message containing the following:

1) your browser type and version
2) confirmation that your browser is configured to support cookies and javascript
3) confirmation that you have tried to cut and paste the registry key directly
4) your domain name
5) your registry key
6) the change you are trying to make (include all necessary information such as nameserver info)
7) explanation of problem including the exact error message you are receiving
